2020 Presidential Run Announcement

Greetings everyone!
Today, on the first day of summer, I am announcing my candidacy for president. There are many things that I would like to do, but most all of them can be reduced to one overarching theme: bringing the virtue of Justice back to governance.

Stocks vs the Economy

The picture to the left is outdated, and the number of unemployed is closer to 40 million — and we have only begun to see the corporations attempting to take advantage of the desperation of the unemployed: you will soon see jobs that used to be $50k/yr offered at $30k/yr, the really nice $90k/yr jobs will be $52k/yr… even now, we’re seeing calls for “relaxing” (i.e. dropping) restrictions on foreign labor. (See: Temporary Changes to Requirements Affecting H-2A Nonimmigrants Due to the COVID-19 National EmergencyAll Employment Growth Since 2000 Went to Immigrants, & Cheap Labor Lobbyists: 40 Million in U.S. Out of Work Proof of ‘Worker Shortage’)

Job-huntingSo, like the Boomers that they are,  instead of making things more difficult for corporations using foreign labor and easier for employing citizens, they obviously push for foreign labor in their ridiculously myopic push for short-term gains. It’s almost like they’ve been bought by foreign interests, either directly or through the large corporations themselves… but that’s getting dangerously close to accusing them of Treason, isn’t it?

The meaning of racketeering activity is set out at 18 U.S.C. §1961. As currently amended it includes: • Any violation of state statutes against gambling, murder, kidnapping, extortion, arson, robbery, bribery, dealing in obscene matter, or dealing in a controlled substance or listed chemical (as defined in the Controlled Substances Act); • Any act of bribery, counterfeiting, theft, embezzlement, fraud, dealing in obscene matter, obstruction of justice, slavery, racketeering, gambling, money laundering, commission of murder-for-hire, and many other offenses covered under the Federal criminal code (Title 18); • Embezzlement of union funds; • Bankruptcy fraud or securities fraud; • Drug trafficking; long-term and elaborate drug networks can also be prosecuted using the Continuing Criminal Enterprise Statute; • Criminal copyright infringement; • Money laundering and related offenses; • Bringing in, aiding or assisting aliens in illegally entering the country (if the action was for financial gain); • Acts of terrorism. Then again, that would explain a lot of the government’s inaction regarding things like Google’s abuse of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, or the heavy usage of H1B by Google, Amazon, Apple, Facebook, and Microsoft… even when such actions should net them a nice RICO investigation.

I remember the government saying, for decades, that (a) the illegal alien population was 11 Million; and (b) that the yearly number of new illegal immigrants was about 1 Million — so, using the Dark Arts of Arithmetic we can see that 11 Million + 20 Million is 31 Million… so if we got rid of all the illegal aliens, we would clear up a huge portion of jobs for our unemployed citizens. — Now, I could be misremembering, as this 2018 study [PDF] puts the number at 22 Million, but either way that’s a lot of people that we could just deport and open up that many more jobs.

I have recently decided to run for one of New Mexico’s seats in the US Congress.

Why should I be interested in supporting you?
My platform is very simple, consisting of only two or three* points:

  1. Constitutionalism: The Constitution for the United States should be treated as the supreme law of the land.
  2. Justice: Having a Just government is imperative not only to the peace and stability of the country, but to the legitimacy of the government itself.
  3. Anti-Corruption: It seems to me that a great many of our laws are optimized to foster and facilitate corruption (especially tax- and campaign-laws).

For these reasons my goals in the District of Columbia are to repeal and simplify many of the current Federal laws; to reign in abusive and out-of-control agencies like the NSA and their blatantly unconstitutional domestic espionage program; and to propose these constitutional amendments.**

Are you a Democrat or a Republican?
Both the Republican- and the Democrat-Party are all-talk and no action.

The Republican party bills itself as for government accountability and fiscal responsibility… yet what did they do in response to the NSA’s espionage program? Nothing. And when the Debt ceiling was reached, did they as-a-party push for expenditures to be cut rather than the debt ceiling to be increased? Nope.

Likewise the Democrat party bills itself as for the working-man… but did the Democrat party push against the H1B visa fraud scams that are so prevalent in the technology industry? Nope. And let’s not forget the collusion and conspiracy the party did to promote Hillary Clinton above Bernie Sanders.

So, which party are you running under?

I’ll run under whichever party will take me. — Given my platform I don’t imagine I’ll “make friends” in the Senate, precisely because a lot of people, even in the Senate, are benefiting from the current culture of corruption.

* — Justice and Anti-corruption could be considered the same thing.
** — Tax reform, balanced budget, term-limits, etc.
